Leury is such a clown at times.

LG is not a LF

Nice play by Sanchez.

HR city tonight

Slow hook of course. That fastball got really destroyed last few innings

Sorry Giolito. Not fair sometimes.

Damn. Funny how quickly an outing can turn.

I wonder if he wouldn't be a better starting SS than the current starting SS

Who cares? Let him work through it.

Leury has a bad error and two gun Pete manages to make it about Anderson. Shocking.

After two wasted innings the wheels were going to come off somehow.

SS is LG's best defensive position.

When you can sit on it, the 2nd and 3rd time through the lineup, ML lineups are going to tee off.

To me, always felt he needs to pitch backwards. Slow stuff to get ahead and then high fastballs up in the count

Lucas us fitting in by giving up three homers tonite

Pretty negative statement after only six innings...

All things considered, I consider Giolito's outing promising for his first MLB start of the year. Command of the fastball, Excellent change. Needs to work on throwing strikes with the curve but Coop will help with that. Homers suck, but when the wind is blowing out at Sox Park there is nothing you can do really about HRs. Some that would be flyball outs in other parks are HRs here. He pitched much better than his line will show.

It's the truth isn't it?

Change up worked very well, I'd guess it was thrown only 4-5 times?

I did not see the cutter we heard he was working on this year.

Why did Lucas get 4 ER? Shouldn't he get 3ER due to Leury's error?

Fastball effectiveness was way better than I expected early on. His best pitch has to be his curve, so let's hope we see huge

Improvements with it going forward

No error

I was flipping channels so didn't see the homeruns. But he was leaving a lot of pitches up, not surprised he got tag for 3 long ones.
