Man you are cynical. It's a nice story. Houston was ravaged. Still is in many parts. I actually know a guy driving down there tomorrow from Wichita with friends, no lie, to do some volunteer rebuilding work. True story.

Agreed. The LA offense failed big time with so many LOB's. Houston set the tone right away and LA just couldn't take advantage of their opportunities.

Yeah I don't think there really is any room to add position players. Even if they were to deal one of Abreu and Avi, there is still other guys in the minors we can give a chance.

After all, they just won the World Series, and will bring back basically the same team. Pencil them in, since that's how it always works in baseball.

The cubs and Astros are a bit different though. The Astros still have a very healthy farm with both pitchers and position players to rely on in the future, the cubs farm is back to being a barren wasteland. This doesn't mean the Astros will win out year after year but they have a better chance than the cubs. Luhnow deserves alot of credit for the way he and his scouts built that team for now and the future.
