I figured nobody was covering 2nd base and that’s why Anderson kept running, but I was wrong!

 

I guess Dylan Covey's arm is expendable.   Didn't he just pitch a few days ago?

I'm thinking Anderson felt since the throw was off line that he wouldn't throw it to second because we had a runner on third. Throw it to second and the runner on third scores.

How has Covey looked out of the pen? I think he has the stuff to be a pretty good bullpen guy

Being at the game early, i dont think ive ever seen a starting pitcher warmup without doing long toss.  He didn't go more than 100 feet. Weird,
