If it's true and aligns with Hahn's comments...I'm sure they've been in touch with Machado often.

We aren't getting Machado. He wants to be out East. Probably the Yankees or Phillies.

I hope to God you are right Fathom. That is certainly a possibility, although he posted it to the angels subreddit. I feel like if he was trolling he would've posted it to the dodgers subreddit, but it's still a possibility and hopefully the case

It’s far more likely that he tweets this stuff daily and then deletes the ones that aren’t true

At the moment he definitely has more credibility than not given the bour thing

He elaborates in the comments that his source is a big leaguer.. one he has little faith in.. strange

Bour was a minor signing. Harper will be given the biggest contract in baseball history. I find it hard to believe that this guy would know about it before everyone else.

That was my firs thought too, but it wasn't a tweet. It was a post on a subreddit. From how the people responded to him it doesn't sound like he did it a bunch of times. It sounds from the Bour post like he posted it and everyone was skeptical and then suddenly he was right.

Then we’re in trouble as an organization if we’re unable to land either player. No one can deny they’ve placed themselves in their current position with low payroll obligations to have one. Hahn and KWs comments have only solidified that fact.

Meh, I don’t know how much stock I put into a third world source when he’s calling the Bryce Harper signing. That’s a pretty crazy thing to have

The overwhelming bias of this board is to believe the White Sox are too cheap or incompetent to sign Harper or Machado, so here we are.

One correct signing is not a long track record, but also, this seems the most likely outcome, which is why I am going to believe it for now.

Recency bias is a hell of a drug.

If the Dodgers were to clear salary, anyone the Sox could get that would help?  I prefer Machado so, I'm not too concerned about what Bryce Heyward does.
