January 18, 20197 yr I can read the comments from Machado's dad as being either good for the Sox or bad. Good in that we are a team less talked about generally than the Phillies, Yankees and Dodgers. Bad in that we have been associated with Machado and maybe the comment means the mystery team will get him.

January 18, 20197 yr I personally interpret this as Manny's father thinks he signs with the White Sox. From a big picture perspective, the Sox are the team people don't think about as much in this race. Remember also that Gomez personally predicted Manny to the Sox yesterday I think.

I think he threw two big market teams in there for some reason. I'm not exactly sure of the motive, but we've covered almost every avenue possible at this point in the process.
