February 1, 20197 yr Majestic no longer is the provider of MLB licensed uniforms. Nike and Fanatics do it now not sure if that matters I didn't read the article because if anyone is running low it is probably rolling off old Majestic products not because someone is guessing about something.
February 1, 20197 yr https://www.mlb.com/news/white-sox-send-gear-to-arizona-on-truck-day/c-303423740 Quote The White Sox clubhouse staff leaves Sunday for Arizona, where they'll unload Tuesday morning after the truck's Monday arrival. A cursory search of the numerous boxes, bags and trunks being loaded Friday morning didn't reveal anything related to premium free agents Manny Machado or Bryce Harper. Then again, White Sox jerseys are ordered from Majestic, according to Warren, and are shipped directly to Camelback Ranch.

February 1, 20197 yr Side note, has anybody bought any of the fanatics stuff lately? I bought some (what looked like) good looking stuff online last year ... received it. absolute TRASH. The Nike quarter zip had a screen print logo .... was thin... the hoodie was paper thin ... one of those 70 degree summer night hoodies and was extremely baggie. T-shirts were paper thin... I legit won't buy anything from Fanatics anymore. They really ruined the quality to take a nicer profit margin.

February 1, 20197 yr I guess page 711. Maybe we con move start times back there so there will be a sponsorship from 7-11 again.

The irony is that players like Mike Trout are the exact reason why there is an immense amount of risk in trading Bryce Bush; why? Because the reason a guy like Trout fell despite being BY FAR the best high school talent by a mile is because of his limited AB's due to being from the north. Limited scouting, and limited reps, frequently cause incredible northern high school talent to fall. It's harder to get a read on a guy with limited reps and only summer/fall ball. The other kids play year round... it's why Sox fans are infatuated with Bush because he fell despite talent because of limited eyes and reps so a sign of instant success against professionals with about twice as many reps at the same age is very exciting.

This is incorrect. Majestic is the official provider through the 2019 season. But Fanatics now owns Majestic. When Nike takes over, the Majestic factories will still produce the on-field uniforms, but they will be branded with the swoosh instead of the Majestic logo. This is pretty common, as the same factory in Wisconsin has made NFL game jerseys for the last 30 years and stitched manufacturer logos on for Starter, Nike, Adidas, Wilson, Reebok, Puma, and Logo Athletic. This factory still makes game jerseys for the Packers and Panthers, who use traditional jerseys. All other teams have moved over to the supposedly advanced fabrics and templates, which Nike makes in-house. Instead of trying to redo everything and bring the space-age fabrics to baseball, looks like Nike will have teams wear the fabrics they do now, made by Majestic. No indication yet if Nike will make the replicas or let Majestic/Fanatics produce them, but I would imagine they will be the same as the current jerseys, too. They will very likely take unsold Majestic replicas, remove the logo, add a swoosh and change the tag on the bottom.
