Why not keep Leury in CF and give Mendick a chance at 2nd?

If Lopez can be "effectively wild" with his fastball this lively he's got a lot higher floor.  Haven't seen it much tho.

100% agree.  Let’s see what Mendick has to offer so we know if we’ll need a veteran stopgap next offseason.
