Castillo needs to follow Yonder right out the door and off the roster.

  • It would be a better, more watchable team, if they made about 5 roster changes now- Eloy, Mendick, Collins, Cease, and maybe Kubat or Lambert.

Sox don’t have a dogshit bullpen. It’s kinda nice.

I don't have to write a column; I can just show you a spreadsheet with his career rates and adjusted k-rates, and even at optimistic rates, he doesn't hit .300. But thanks for thinking of me.

Did you use the new crystal ball function in that sheet?

Ol Daniel Hudson has put on some weight since he was with the Sox

Definitely, but also nice to see him doing fairly well after all of his injury issues.

Once Jimenez is back up, who here wants Leury Garcia to become the Sox everyday second baseman?  Yolmer does not look like a major league starter.

Mendick has been tearing it up in Charlotte and I'd love to see him get a shot.  Collins is waiting in the wings to take Yonder's spot.  Whether or not the FO has the stones to cut bait with underperforming veterans is another story.

why is TA batting behind Nicky?

Hopefully that’s the last Delmonico at bat we see in a long time

That was a bad call on strike 3, but yeah, bye Nick. (Watch him get a walk off in extras)

Swinging a magic bat

Funny rebuild game. Yoan, Timmy and Lopez with good stats and the rest garbage.

And a perfect example of why 2B needs an upgrade...

I can't imagine why it matters if he hits .300 if his OPS is consistently .870 or better but thanks for posting nonsense

We have Nicky Madrigal waiting in the minors. He's so good we moved Yoan for him.

Sometimes baseball is cruel. Yolmer is a likable guy, but Mendick deserves a shot.

I don't mind bunting but bunting with your best hitter is idiotic

Moncada hitting for average is a development I didn’t expect. I didn’t realize he was back up over 290

Herrera blows ?

Herrera, another Rick Hahn FA gem.

Herrera is awful now. Fastball gets destroyed regularly.

Awe shit. That's game.

Paid him twice as much as they should have

god damnit.

Feels weird having confidence in the bullpen.   I will give Hahn credit the pen has been a pleasant surprise.

Literally the kiss of death right here.

That wasn't even a terrible pitch. Vlad Jr is just gonna be a monster.
