June 4, 20196 yr Why is there such a discrepancy in Beard's height and weight? One place it say 5' 10" and 170 pounds, and in another it says 6' and 190. Is the latter, a projection, or was the former an older description? In any case, he looks very skinny in that video.

So I would take that 6 ft, 190 pound listing to be more accurate.

June 4, 20196 yr Author I wonder if this is the same scout that plucked Anderson. Obviously big risk this guy never sees A+, but in the fourth round, this is a great value. Huge tool and others developing, along with reasons he was pushed down that are largely circumstance. It relies a lot on luck but, lets hope we got really lucky.
June 4, 20196 yr man I am super freakin pissed the Royals grabbed Massey one spot in front of the Sox. They really target the right guys damn them all to hell.

June 4, 20196 yr Author If Beard makes it to the majors in a bench capacity its still a really good pick.
