They aren’t. Their fans are just morons who don’t know anything about baseball.

The Sox aren’t pulling Moncada or Madrigal late in the game for a defensive replacement unless it’s an absolute blowout.  Also, his ability to switch hit is not valuable when he’s not good from either

The Cubs possibly trading someone who should be an all time legend to save a buck is hilarious to me.

I know people think the Sox need to pay a tax to get good players, but this prediction on Castellanos is a little ridiculous.

Cant believe Boras hasnt sued to take that graphic down. When you look at Ryu's name, I couldnt help but see "injury".

Guess I'll put this here. Probably a good thing it's quiet.

Not that he’s wrong, but I’m sure he will say “if they sign in Dec 9 or Dec 20, it doesn’t make a home run they hit count less”

This times a million.

This should also be a cautionary tale for all the "who cares how much, just get the player" supporters.

The cubs are in talks of trading one of the best players in baseball because they;

1. Can't afford to extend him due to terrible FA deals to Darvish and Heyward.

2. May have created ill will with the service time management.

This is the Cubs too - who are spending near the luxury tax threshold.

Sox fans can say they dont care and all they want is tomorrow, but if Yoan Moncada is walking away because they spent 260 million on a pitcher who broke that's not something everyone will willingly accept.

This stuff also doesn't just stop at 5 PM a good chunk of the White Sox moves the last time they were adding happened late at night during the meetings. I very vividly remember not doing any of the studying I was supposed to do when both Shark and Frazier were added.

Boras about to make commission on $755MM in the next few weeks, talk about insanity lol

4% is the going rate.  I think your calculator malfunctioned.

Hahn’s “postseason” is him standing in front of the media spouting nonsense about his vision and the long term competitive window. It’s like the nerd in high school fantasizing about the hot girl and always being left alone at the dance.

4% on $755M is $30.2M.... $755M is the value of contracts assuming Rendon gets $200M & Cole gets $300M

I think Boras charges 6%, but it's a moot point. Rich man is richer.

They are stuck with that awful contract.  Myers is trash.

2020:  $20 million

2021:  $20 million

2022:  $20 million

2023:  $20 million club option ($1 million buyout)

Interesting but it would require something creative.  The Sox are out.

Myers is a sunk cost for the Padres, they are stuck with him and his terrible deal.

It's always all talk with this team.  People keep falling for it.

I hope they have to throw in Gore + another elite prospect(s) or something just to get rid of him.

He also said that Arte Moreno is a total wildcard and you never know what he'll do.

Something is about to go down at the Winter Meetings tonight... sounds like a trade... don’t think the Sox are involved.
