8/9 are up, go ahead and go to the bathroom/get a drink, etc.

It’s like past years when veterans were up that you had no interest in watching.

Nicky looks like he has no plan.

I miss Mazara and Madrigal... even though that’s not really logically possible.

It’s literally 1 game. We. Will. Be. Fine.

I get it. I really do. The Sox are going to be really freakin’ good. But the Twins aren’t going anywhere.

Good thing we have Delmonico on the team.  Big woof.

Kinda like saying I miss Natille Portman sleeping over at my place.

What exactly was the point of bringing in Herrera to face one batter?

Look at the exhibition games against the cubs. First game they scored 7 runs, 6 of those were in one inning. Second game they scored 5 runs, all those came in the first inning. They didn't score any after that.

So far this game they've scored 5, and it's all come in the first inning. That's 3 full games out of 4 against other MLB clubs with pretty much the same players in the lineup.

The evidence of the sample size is gaining credibility.

I need some Tom time, a little T T

Wait. They aren’t retiring Nate Jones’ number?

In the exhibition games, most of the starters left after the 5th

Then we should play for the big inning in the back of our mind. 2 men on? No ground balls, fly out because you’re trying to hit the ball hard. Don’t trade an out for an RBI when you’re down 4 runs in the first.

I don't see a correlation

4 young studs Anderson, Moncada, Eloy, and Robert 9-15, HR, 3 doubles, a walk. Rest of the lineup: 0-17 2 walks.

Filthy slider

Heuer is a boss

Give that kid that ball.

My god why does he talk so slow and serious.  If this is going to be a season long thing I may not watch another game.

Been a big Heuer fan since I first saw him. He’s got some stuff.

At least the 3 main prospect studs look great. Last year, we would have been content with this game.

Yeah, there are definitely some plusses tonight even if the outcome ultimately sucks.

Ground ball pitcher Keuchel starts tomorrow...if Leury is starting at 2B I'm gonna be pissed.  Throw Mendick out there.
