  • This lineup is so absurd I had to come out of hibernation to join the fun

Grandal has averaged a 5.0 fWAR the last 5 seasons. Only White Sox fans would b**** about his acquisition 2 and 1/2 games into his White Sox career after a long layoff.

How do the Indians develop pitchers left and right but the Sox can’t do it if their life depended on it?

Timmy!  The ball is so juiced

I was just typing up a post about how Tim has been trying to pull everything this year...then he does that.

Nice Timmy!

hey something good!

First 6 games against the cream of the AL central and theyre showing theyre not ready to jump them yet

Cool now the ump's outside zone is a mile

Yeah a few to Engle were outside

It's almost like if you focus on command and not velocity you're a better pitcher.

I just want to know what it's like to root for a team that's good. What does that feel like again?

The Sox are allergic to .500. We can never get over .500 during this lousy period in Sox history.

Less fans in stadium = more room for air to swirl = more homers.

(Ignore lack of fans last year)

3 IP, 6 K's....

To be fair, his curve is pretty rough, but still.

3.3*** games... why are we all suddenly pretending we’re 1-5?

Better coaching/player development staffs

white sox have been notorious for not investing in this area for the last few years

No one would ever accuse Cooper of focusing on velocity though.

They are down by 3 right now. Who gives a shit about the last game?

If you actually read my original comment and the comment I was responding to it should make sense to you.

Ok Timmy.....we need Cease to pitch a couple of innings without giving anything up.

I predict Nicky will have a 20+ pitch at bat to get Civale out of the game.

Supposedly, that has been Cooper philosophy for years. Why doesn't that seem to work here?

maybe because they now focus on spin rate and velocity with the pitching lab and don't focus enough on command? I don't know.

And then pop out to 3rd

If you've been watching the games...it's not like we've been losing close 1,2, or 3 run games. The games they've lost they have been destroyed and the starters have looked abysmal.
