I agree. EE usually starts slow, iirc. He had a 92 mph fastball and fouled it away. They need to turn it on if the SP's continue to struggle

Really quality at bat for Grandal, my god. Stop pulling everything

I will predict that Grandal's play style will drive some White Sox fans nuts.

That said, I loved this quote from Kenny:

Can't throw pitches there to Reyes.

Nice frame by Giolito on 3-2

Big k there

Rack Em Up!

that was the most casual double play I've seen.

Rack em up!! Nice

What I find odd and it's an observation I've seen in many righties; why does a right handed starter with a big curve and ++ fastball start to lose the effectiveness of that off-speed pitch as his change up becomes better? I've seen this in so many fB/CB or slider guys who develop a + change.

Sox struggled vs Plesac last year at home in his first start. I'd like to think they learned a thing or three from that start, but so far I'd be wrong

What the bloody F is up with these egregious calls this series?!

I haven't watched other games but could the league have given the umps orders to get the games moving by making them swing? Because there have been awful calss outside the zone in all games for the Sox.

Guys getting just destroyed by that slider off the corner

Leury horrible base running, lucky as hell

That was so dumb even though it wasn't an out. My God leury.

Good pitch to hit, too :(

Why do so many think swinging at first pitch is a bad AB? He got a pitch up, and he was late. He was clearly looking for it. Shit happens.

Very frustrating

Leury was dead to rights there, but Zimmer slightly hesitated and spiked the throw a bit.

Need to come up with a big hit with runners on base at some point.

At least Giolito looks markedly sharper, so there's that.
