That's because we have old man winter as a manager. I'm getting sick of this old school baseball shit.

This is what we get for having a catcher playing shortstop.

It sounds crazy but without Gio and Keuchel this team is 1-5 easy. The offense has been mediocre at best outside the 2nd game of the season

Hopefully the Royals don't sweep, so we are mercifully spared the "McBroomed out of The K" line on Sunday afternoon.

What's the adage? Take 'em out a batter too early rather than a batter too late? Maybe Ricky's never heard that one.

426 feet.

No doubter.

McBroom had already doubled off Keuchel earlier.   SSS, lol.

Renteria continuing to battle with Bevington and Ventura for worst manager of all time in recent modern Sox history.

Ricky would do much better as the "Roman erectile dysfunction spokesperson" instead of Zack/Zach.

“Gut” managers have no business in this era

Keuchel battled to give you 5 innings.  That should have been enough tonight.

Need some runs

Maybe Cordero will be what Herrera was supposed to be

It reminds me of Colbert's roast of George W at the 2006 correspondent's dinner. Ricky doesn't get his ideas from his head, he gets them from his gut.

Gut managers who have never won more than 75 games should stop going with his gut.

Computer and math bad

He Gone!

If you just let Cordero pitch that whole inning, it's probably still 3-1.

Not bad at all

Made my post before seeing this. Spot on. Ricky is a gut manager.

Feel a lot more confident with Madrigal going to his right there compared to Leury or Mendick.

Cordero doing his best Danny Tartabull impression, showing off his guns/pipes.   More like Mr. T on the A-Team.

Jimmy Cordero was a really nice find

Cordero got good stuff

Big half inning here. Let’s get that run back.

Anyone else see that Mookie Betts throw?

Fifth organization.  Went through 3 last year, alone.   Shades of Miguel Cleto.
