3 straight games using Cordero... 4 in the last 5 games... and Ricky sees nothing wrong with it.

I... I'm at a loss for words.

  • I love Madrigal because he makes so many people here angry, love his little bloop hits!

  • If they trade this guy for fucking Lance Lynn im gonna throw up

Great throw by McCann there, did absolutely everything he COULD do, but better jump and lead from Merrifield.   Book on Cordero is that you run almost at will on him.

So frustrating

I just don’t understand why we’d be using Cordero again after his recent usage.  Ricky is really bad when it comes to bullpen management.

We need Ozzie.   Forget about the trade deadline.   Let's just change managers and make a World Series run!

Fuck renteria

What Jason just said was what I questioned a while back. If you come back out after finishing an inning, the 3 batter rule reverts back into play.

If I can see it a mile away as a fan on my couch he surely has to realize it. But Cordero won’t be taken out until he gives up the lead to KC. The bullpen management is a damn joke

Pen covering for 3 iffy starters is starting to catch up.  RR’s terrible usage isn’t helping either.

Cordero does not have to pitch daily

Just leave him in after his 3rd start in 3 days. Wheres the ricky fan club today?

Who should he have used?

Nice long peg from Mendick.  2 down.

Holy shit Ricky actually woke up

I'm not sure why you bring someone in who has faced the same lineup two days in a row already

Is Heur injured or something?

Our bullpen is Cordero Marshall and Colome no matter what lol

Sox still have a lead and Cordero is out. I guess you are just as wrong as you claim Rickey is.

I suppose Marshall is better than a spent Cordero.  Most certainly better than Fry...

Cordero is apparently our new Bummer. Gonna run him into the ground too.

That run is on Eloy.  Incredibly lazy effort going after that ball.

Walk Soler

Let's not give Yasmani an opportunity to recruit Soler to the White Sox, lol...

Or, if he does get on, it's only on an infield hit.    Need to get out of this inning with the lead intact, or we'll be starting to hear some of those "oh, no...the bullpen is really not as reliable as we once thought it was" whispers in the back of the mind.

Ricky not playing the splits with this pitching move

Not that I have seen.  Want to say he pitched Friday.

Edit - 1IP on Friday

Seems rather than a starting pitcher, the single biggest need with Bummer out is a lockdown 8th inning guy.

And those don't come cheap at all.

(For example, Padres have added two already in Pagan during the offseason from TB, now Rosenthal from the Royals.)
