Half game back.

Dylan Cease is somehow 5-2 with a 3.18 ERA. In another era, people would look at those numbers and consider him for the All-Star Game. What’s the most a pitcher’s ERA has ever outperformed their FIP? Can’t complain about the results though!

Doesnt feel like a win but hope they can keep grinding.  Everything is regressing back to the mean.

Nice offensive bounce back after an ugly weekend.  Keep beating up on bad teams please.

We scored 11 runs so if that’s regression I’ll take it

DFA Cishek tomorrow.

Man, I was so hoping Cishek would look like he is turning a corner. That was not pretty tonight. The only good thing about him is the beer he makes me drink.

Sox Need some innings outta some starters.

Said it a few times, but what Anderson has turned himself into doesn’t get talked about enough. It’s really an incredible story and he is so easy to root for.

Just got his Jersey myself. Love Tim Anderson.

I wonder if we see Tyler Johnson up sometime this year. He can't be worse than cishek

Any chance we see Crochet?

The amount of ho-hum 4-hit games anderson is collecting is insane.

But...let's talk about that damn home run from Robert. Holy freaking crap. HOLY FREAKING CRAP. I'm not sure it's possible to appear to hit a ball harder off the plate. That was Pujols 2005 v. Astros territory.

Can we talk about the greatest bat flip of all time?

That is certainly a weird take after the team scored 11 runs

EE's also was mammoth. Nice win. Great offense and it's nice to beat up on KC. Although Cishek tried to make it more than interesting. If Sox blow that game it might have been one of those games that are looked at as turning points. That last play could have gone either way on replay IMO. But no harm no foul Sox win. 11 runs in the opener of a 4-game series. Hope Sox can keep raking in KC.

Tigers and Royals are 29-29 against teams other than the Sox.

I had stepped away from the game for a minute, and I heard my son yell, "OH MY GOD!"  He ran downstairs to tell me about Robert's home run.  What a blast.

What should we add back?  Lopez?  Hamilton?  Strop?

He's not our best player, but he is easily my favorite player on this team.

and just taking a walk in general with the bases loaded

The Sox could use an innings eater, who might still have a little left in the tank. In looking at the non-rostered players with the team, I noticed Clayton Richard on there. By no means is he the missing link, and last year he struggled, so he might not even be a possibility at this stage....but, has anyone heard any news as to how he has looked in Schaumburg?

Has Luis Roberts home run landed yet
