One of the better lineups of the year imo.

  • The guy is on a roll. Why take him out? The Sox have 2 off days this week. I am sure he will be fine.

  • Remember when everyone was worried that RR would continue batting Abreu third in the order this year?

Ummm...are you sure you don't work for the Soviet or Chinese press?

Doesn't mean it's not at least worth discussing, it's like talking about RR's eventual fate pretty much every single game.

Giolito with a mistake pitch right down the middle...O'Hearn couldn't do anything with it.

There's a thread for it. Discuss it there. Renteria has said repeatedly- paraphrasing- that he needs to suck it up. They had their chance to do that already and they didn't, so yes, drop it

That kid has it made.

What I would do for some steak tacos from zacatacos right now... But I can't complain given that there is a decent Mexican place every few blocks in Chicago, even on the north side.

I thought Grandal hit that better

Timmy has taken his walks lately.

Me too and then I remembered it was Grandal

@ KC  1

@ Pitt   2

DET  3

MIN  4

@ Cincy  3

@ CLE   4

CUBS  3

24-15, 25-15, then 4-2, 29-17 going into the toughest four series stretch at the end of the season.

Worst case, looking like 5-9 if they really struggled, 34-26.   Just go .500 and they're 36-24.

Twins currently losing 1-0 to the Tigers

Gio could use a quick inning

Shit

Another game where the SP probably isn't going into the 7th :(

there's literally no reason to think that yet

Skubal with 3 perfect innings vs Twinkies thus far

no, frank thomas exists, so you're saying he's the best non-frank hitter we have ever had

Obviously Frank is first. I said second best.

Well of course there is *up to this point*

What can save him is a short inning here next time out, but at this point he's going 18+ pitches per inning

He Gone!

58 through 3?

That changeup is nasty.

57 pitches through 3.  Gio could use a few quick innings.

"Last nights winner" LOL

Got to have better ABs against this guy. 3rd time seeing him

Why they didn't announce the winner:

?

9 of 10 set down now...10/11.

Soler, by the way, should be sitting, he's obviously favoring an oblique and really struggling the last 2-3 weeks.

11 of the last 12 retired, only 8 pitches as well, economical.   The way the White Sox bullpen has been a bit inconsistent, and playing against the Royals, this has the look of another struggle to the death the last 3-4 innings, but without the benefit of some critical elements in that bullpen.
