McCann has won a starting role the rest of the season - catching Gio and Dunning. Him and Grandal together with everyone else...might just be enough to make them AL favorites.

A few weeks ago I said why not give McCann the QO. People acted like it was completely insane. There are way worse ways to spend $18 and its only a 1 year commitment. 

EE never needs to be in the lineup, like ever again

Robert has the same swing on that offspeed pitch every time, and it isn't good.

McCann can't play every day.  He'd be overexposed.  At least that's what I'm told.

He's going thru another one of those adjustment periods, in a mini-slump he'll probably come out of soon if his previous patterns are any indication

honestly I could be okay with that. 2021 Sox are favorites to win it all if they retain him and get a Bauer or Stroman. And keeping James around for another year let's the whole Vaughn, Abreu thing work itself out and then if you really want to trade Yaz and keep James long term...that could be on the table.
