I was more so thinking like hey we’re all huge Sox fans and have delt watching utter shit the past decade and finally this feels like we made it, but ok.
September 16, 20205 yr Cleveland lost by their pitcher hitting two gus in a row when there were 2 already on.

The dream scenario - win tomorrow and make the Twins watch us celebrate a playoff spot. Then win enough in Cleveland to make them watch us celebrate a division crown. Ooooh I'm getting tingly just thinking about it.
September 16, 20205 yr They get a statement win against their divisional arch rival to pad their hold on the best record in the AL heading down the stretch. So far zero headlines for it on MLB.com... Smh, lol

September 16, 20205 yr So we all agree now that Dunning should get the ball if there is a game three in the wild card round? Edited September 16, 20205 yr by Chicago White Sox

Two decades ago I get it, but many of the Twins players in 2000 were pissed watching the Sox celebrate the division and say they used it as motivation over the following years. Still I want to make them watch the Sox celebrate lol.
September 16, 20205 yr Dane Dunning might at this moment be my favorite player on this squad. Dude has balls of steel. I love a pitcher that would rather find the zone with a hanger than miss with a teaser. He attacks guys and pitches effectively wild more often than not. Has good stuff, knows it, and will make the hitter more often than not hit his pitch -- because he's not afraid to throw his pitch. If it was easy everybody would do it but learn up Dylan.
September 16, 20205 yr Great win. I love how the Twins were acting up in the latter innings, getting mad at the ump and ejected. Frankly it seemed pathetic on their part. Nobody can boss the Sox around anymore. I'd take Eloy and Abreu and Tim and Moncada and huge Robert in a scrap against the Twins. I won't take these wins for granted. All the nice performances including Dunning and Robert and McCann and of course TA and Abreu. Beautiful. Edited September 16, 20205 yr by greg775
September 16, 20205 yr Jesus the Sox now have allowed 2nd fewest runs in AL. We know the offense. This is a complete team.
September 16, 20205 yr Same lineup tomorrow Ricky except put Grandal at first to be safe. Really wish they would get rid of EE to bring up Collins/ Mercedes
