Ruiz and Gio just pitched back to back the highest leverage innings of the season.  Did I already post this?  You can only laugh to keep from crying.

  • This was the 13th game in a row. Guys are tired and there are no opportunities to catch a breather, let some soreness work itself out, or have a day to clear your head by not going to the ballpark.  I

robert is a rookie who has never proven anything....

But Mcann's at bat is what losers are made of..

Pitcher throws 7 balls in the dirt and he swung at 6 of them.

Why the hell is giolito still out there?

Do you think sitting him is the best path to winning?

I think when a pitcher cant locate a fastball that is well under his normal velo is a warning sign that should tell a manager to get him out to avoid possible injury.

Edit...seems like his velo is starting to tick up this inning

sorry i laughed. but how is that even possible with how good this team was a month ago.

Baseball, plain and simple, magnified with this farce of a season.

Could have had a meaningful season but the owners had no interest in it. Would have had playoffs with zero games if they could get away with it.

He just threw a fastball at 95.  Don't quit your day job.

McCann, 0 for his last 13.

4 innings, 1 run, 8 strikeouts. Clearly there is something wrong.

He was at 92-93 the prior two innings.  Thats usually a big warning sign

James stop swinging at balls!! You moron!! Otherwise you'll be benched for.. uhh... I don't know Yasmani's hurt but someone! We'll get someone in there!! And Tim I'll bench you and your .355 average ya bum!!

Is that what you want?

Dude literally just struck out the side.  He's the ace of the staff.  Do you really think going to the bullpen in the 4th is a good idea?

Giolito Ks the side in the 4th!

That's what the pro scouts on Soxtalk said vs Milwaukee and he threw a no hitter like 2 weeks later

Win. This. Damned. Game.

80 pitches through 4 innings

his results are more a result of clevelands terrible offense than his effectiveness tonight

Hello, exactly.

Some of the meat being slung in this thread by a few remind me of the Arby’s monstrosity of a sandwich rolled out a few years ago.

SoxTalk, we have the meats!

refreshing to see a game where balls and strikes don't dictate everything. I honestly believe part of this slump has been the worst balls and strike calling over the last 7 games I have ever seen.

A warning sign of what.

I'd send Madrigal at some point. Force the issue. Would rather rely on one more hit than two.

Madrigal is such a quiet stud. Knew he was doing good, but he’s hitting .352 in 100 PAs? Wow.

I hate this because it's stressing me out, but this is a great duel

Tim now 5 for his last 24, its going sideways for the whole lineup.

moncada crushes that pitch 440ft last year
