June 6, 20214 yr Brian Kenny who views baseball about as differently as possible as Hawk Harrelson does, just paid homage to the Hawk on MLBN. They had a live look in at the Cin/STL game, when they made the final out, he gave a Hawk like, this game is OVA!

June 7, 20214 yr Author Brewers sent down Hiura. Didn’t realize he was having a bad year. Tigers DFA Jacoby Jones. He was good for a minute during the shortened season. And down goes Scott Kingery too (he cleared waivers and is off the 40-man) Edited June 7, 20214 yr by flavum

In all seriousness, I find this hard to believe. They're talented and a hot week or two away from being right back in the divisional race, let alone wildcard.

They don't even have anybody that has a lot of trade value and they'd be trading low on pretty much everybody but Judge. That almost sounds like a desperate ploy by Cashman to motivate his club.

They did this similar what, 5 years ago? Where they pretty much dealt anyone worth anything at the deadline (Andrew Miller, Carlos Beltran, Aroldis Chapman, forget who else).

Yeah, Cashman has done that before and he might do that little mini rebuild again but only if the next couple weeks go really bad.
June 13, 20214 yr Man the Mariners fucking blew it today. McKenzie or whatever for the Tribe was gone in the 1st inning and yet they still failed to bury the Tribe before blowing it late. Pathetic. That team just sucks. They literally have only one SP in their entire system worth a damn in Kikuchi and they couldn't even win today with him on the mound. He's not even that great but he's better than the rest of the shit they have. Tribe will probably sweep them tmr.

Then the Mets would have drafted Madrigal and traded him to the Mariners, and Madrigal would have rescued the Mariners today.
