I'm pretty sure having a catcher on 2nd helped Mendick quite a bit in his AB. He knew that change up was coming on 3-2, which is a pretty big gamble against a guy who throws 98.

I’m confused. We’ve scored 6 runs in less than 6 innings and the Royals haven’t pitched a lefty yet. This is weird.
