Just a reminder we could have had AJ Hinch but Reinsdorf hasn't died yet.

Time for Hahn to go all "moneyball" and just DFA Nick Williams and Jake Lamb.  "Sorry, Tony, you can't start those guys tonight....they're no longer on the team"

  • More convinced than ever that Kenny is his dad.

Lack of whiffs might be indicative Bieber doesn't have his good stuff tonight but is this lineup capable of taking advantage?

If I was Bieber, I would just put Abreu on.  Not much after him to get him in.

Eddie Rosario, still on that long list of players who always find a way against the Sox, regardless of their uniform.

Feels like Rosario has had a number of fluky plays go his way already in this series.

Lucas prolly going to throw 6 shut out innings and still catch a L.

Lol terrible swing but karma for that punk Rosario hit

He and Santana always kill us. Fitting that when they can go to any other team this off-season they both end up back in the AL Central.

Robert and Abreu now with matching 703 OPS.

Robert vs. Bieber was never going to be a good match-up, but you have to put Robert in CF regardless of the offensive match-up against XYZ pitcher.

?

He’s locked in now and this offense is taking strikes and swinging at balls

Filthy curve against Luis, terrible at bat for Abreu.

At least this game is going along quickly, so there's that.   At least until the bullpens get involved.

Giolito has been quite successful despite throwing most fastballs in the 92-93 MPH range, cold weather again?

Having Robert stand farther off the plate is a terrible idea. He struggled enough to reach the outside corner even when he was closer

Just gonna have to hope Gio and the bullpen can keep it at zero and somebody in this lineup can run into one. Looking tough

This team looks as tired as their manager.

The AL Central this year is going to be a war of attrition...and keeping one's starting pitching as healthy as possible.

Unhittable.  Damn.

Bieber is just unbelievable

Nobody can touch Bieber's curveball when it's on.

That inning was just ridiculous.

Our three best hitters lol.

This looks a lot like Kerry wood vs. astros

The issue with this lineup isn't that Lamb and Williams are in. It's that Robert, abreu and moncada aren't hitting at all.
