Bullpen has blown some leads late, but overall the pitching has been fine. Problem has been the offense - they just don't score a lot - 4.53 runs per game over 15 games, and that includes 12 and 10 runs. Take those >10 run games away and they're averaging 3.54 runs per game in the other 13.

Pitching has been better than fine. In fact, coming into today, White Sox pitching was 2nd in MLB in fWAR and FIP, 3rd in xFIP. That’s elite, actually.

Agreed. They need to protect both Vaughn and in all likelihood Crochet after rushing them.  Something is not quite right with either player...we can diagnose from the living room couch, but it ne

One team just made the World Series.  The other is the winningest in MLB history.     The White Sox, otoh, have lost 20 of their last 30...and are completely unproven against the best teams in

Not a fan at all of the 7 inning rule but we'll take it.

With the way the Sox have been giving up the lead in the 8th inning, I love 7 inning games.

Also impossible to add to the leads blown after 7 count.

Yoan gets First Star.

Let’s just hope he doesn’t get too amped up and try to throw everything 100+.

He has been so effective at 96-98 mph so far.

I'm guessing the plan is for him to go 2 or 3 innings or whenever he hits 40ish pitches. Then Stiever comes in?

I'm guessing Grandal won't catch game 2. I know Yaz had an RBI double in game 1, but TLR really sucks at making lineups for good matchups. Collins will end up starting vs. the lefty starter and Grandal, who hits lefties better than righties, will sit vs. the lefty. This isn't the first time it's happened this year either. Meanwhile, TLR went out of his way to play Jake Lamb against Bieber instead of Yermin.

It’s really dumb and frustrating.

2 out RBI with RISP? I’m utterly shocked

Its the 1 out with RISP that really sucks. I guessing the Sox have about a 50% K rate in those situations when just a ball in play is usually needed..

Outside of a few bad bullpen outings and Keuchel generally sucking his first few starts, the pitching has been brilliant.

Wahhhh ! Maybe you haven't seen a bunch of people lately questioning Vaughn in the lineup so maybe not so idiotic.
