Wow that curve is fucking filthy

Somewhere, Coop is shaking his head and wondering why the hell Cease is using that curveball instead of a cutter

And why wasn’t he pulled after a hit in the first

I’ve been watching the draft at a buddy’s house all night. Anybody willing to give a quick summary on how Cease looks so far? I see the box score, but how’s his command?

7K!

honestly that curve is the best i have seen in a long time, from any pitcher. I cant believe how much it broke right there

Why can't this Cease show up most of the time? He will look unhittable and then awful. It could even still happen tonight. Is it just his youth? His mental approach?

This is the best he's ever looked. Like what Sox players were saying last summer camp about him.

Really good. Best I’ve ever see him pitch. Career high 7Ks. Literally only two or three mistake pitches all game and the curve looks world class

-command is mostly good

-his curveball has just ungodly movement tonight, he has fooled me a few times with it and im just a spectator

Someone nailed it earlier.  He looks like he did in the intrasquad game last year

I'm stunned by how Cease has seemingly turned it around today.  If he can sustain this, Sox pitching is absolutely dangerous, and Giolito and Keuchel are the weak links!

He looks even better than the numbers.

I liked how Keuchel looked last time out...if he can keep that up look out

Yoan pulled oblique?

Yoan's muscles seem like they're always being pulled.

Mercedes BABIP regressing as expected (you never expect him to be the first since Ted Williams to bat .400) but still love his approach and contact. I think he’s gonna be a genuine slugger for awhile

lets all relax on that catch

It is the Leury teabagging tour, destination all of us

Then Leury does that.  Wow.

Jason, is that you?

Cease is getting 3000 rpm on the curve tonight. Is he using what Bauer's using?
