They played a clip from La Russa discussing Mendick on the radio broadcast:

“He takes infield, then takes 27 balls in Left, Center and Right. Reminds me of a smaller version of Robert out there.”

That's one of the worst missed strike calls we'll see all season. The strike zone in both games of this series has been atrocious.
