This is ridiculous.  Giolito's is one bad start. That was on Grandal? And Rodons ERA is below 1.00 with Grandal and he is more comfortable with someone else?  The Grandal is so bad train is off t

Wonder if they do explore a Grandal for McCann flip...the Mets have the money to absorb that deal, if they wanted to. Maybe Yasmani is just more comfortable in the NL, and vice versa with McCann.

  • Mendick is a heck of a utility player. I hope we see him in the OF more often. No more Hamilton, please.

Lucas can't put people away with the fastball and his change up is getting hit. Just a bad combo going for him right now.

And Abreu gets plunked.

Score some runs and give Gio time to gather himself in the dugout and figure something out.

I hope Abreu didn't pull his groin or something when sprinting to first after that HBP

Abreu running faster there than 75% of the time on weak infield grounders.

Seems like he had an extra 2 mph on those high fastballs last year

It’s bizarre the only pitcher that has really regressed under Katz is Gio (and I guess Crochet)

The need for a consistent 3rd pitch is showing.

He likes to walk so much, he should work for the USPS.

Idiot, Hudler.

Yeah his slider is more or less a show me pitch. If he can use it to steal strikes and put right handers away, he'd be in a much better place.

Not saying he’s done by any means, but I always wondered how long his shelf life would be with his new mechanics.  Remember a few experts thinking it could be harder for him to maintain it than most.

Down to .119 for Grandal.

What was Dunn’s average at this point in 2011?  Obviously, more PA’s and K’s.

Yermin triple?!

Grandal is a mess at the plate. Nothing to do with bad luck, just bad swings

nice  yermin!  got enough of it and got it out there in the jet stream.

Good wheels!!

Yermin!

That was an excellent piece of hitting

MVP Mercedes.

That ball sliced so much

Atta boy, Yermin.

That’s where Luis Robert would find that extra gear and run through the ball...Taylor just ran out of gas.

That's it, Yermin is hitting for the cycle

Nice hit Mercedes.

Yermin first career triple? Hell yeah I'd take that. How fortunate that Taylor was shifted more towards left on that fly ball.

Vaughn has to get contact and get an RBI here
