Your hyperbole and misrepresentation of my post trolling for likes is absurd.

Where did I say Grandal is “so bad”?

I gave my reasons for why Collins is a better fit with Lucas (he has never clicked with Grandal) and Rodon (Collins is better at handling his slider, Rodon can be comfortable throwing it vs. worrying about Grandal ole’ing it.

Using catcher ERA when 1 bad start makes all the difference is ridiculous.  Are you saying Gio would have not had a bad start if Collins caught him vs Boston? And I personally feel a CERA of 0.90 is pretty good. It would indicate to me the pitcher is pretty comfortable with the catcher. Since Grandal has been on base 13 times his last 4 games the haters have to find something I guess, no matter how ridiculous it is.

This is ridiculous.  Giolito's is one bad start. That was on Grandal? And Rodons ERA is below 1.00 with Grandal and he is more comfortable with someone else?  The Grandal is so bad train is off t

Wonder if they do explore a Grandal for McCann flip...the Mets have the money to absorb that deal, if they wanted to. Maybe Yasmani is just more comfortable in the NL, and vice versa with McCann.

  • Mendick is a heck of a utility player. I hope we see him in the OF more often. No more Hamilton, please.

92 mph fastballs won’t get the job done Lucas

Merrifield ambushed that fastball.

Vaughn stuck in quicksand.

that pitch was right down the middle, with no movement. something not right with Lucas. dead arm?

Especially to a guy who swings at early fastballs

If they score it is clearly on Grandal.

LG need to step it up

he's all over the place mechanically again.  throwing across his body.

Not a concern, we’ve heard.  All perfectly normal.

He has absolutely nothing on these pitches.

He has nothing.  This is once again batting practice.

Gio has been disappointing to say the least so far

No pop on fastball and change up just floating at the top of the zone.

jesus christ a floating changeup.

Almost seems like he’s aiming or guiding it rather than throwing...and there’s a more pronounced hook.  Thought pairing him back with Katz would have made him even more comfortable, not less.

Trade the run for 2 outs

He's just not that good at 92-93.

Maybe it’s good we didn’t extend gio and give him 160 million. Clearly he is not our ace this year.

I think Giolito might be washed up. On wait a minute he gets a double play so never mind

Yeah, you'd think the coach who fixed him being the pitching coach would make him better, not worse.

I don’t care how good the rest of the starters are going, if Gio isn’t the Gio we know, the Sox aren’t going anywhere.

They need to figure this out, ASAP.

All the batted ball metrics are going in the wrong direction this year.  He needs to get it turned around with the weather heating up.

Merrifield caught him on a first pitch fastball. Other than thar he’s looked OK. Not great, but OK.
