This is ridiculous.  Giolito's is one bad start. That was on Grandal? And Rodons ERA is below 1.00 with Grandal and he is more comfortable with someone else?  The Grandal is so bad train is off t

Wonder if they do explore a Grandal for McCann flip...the Mets have the money to absorb that deal, if they wanted to. Maybe Yasmani is just more comfortable in the NL, and vice versa with McCann.

  • Mendick is a heck of a utility player. I hope we see him in the OF more often. No more Hamilton, please.

Hopefully these extra runs help Lucas settle in.

Dick man!

Thanks Taylor. :)

Jake Burger HR. First one since coming back. Congrats to him.

It’s not about value of two players, it’s all about financial flexibility for Sox.

Not saying he’s done by any means, but I always wondered how long his shelf life would be with his new mechanics.  Remember a few experts thinking it could be harder for him to maintain it than most.

Yeah this was always a quiet concern with the new mechanics. Let's hope this is just a dead arm period.

lmao Tim

Mercedes 1.016

TA not seeing him well so far.

His velocity really doesn’t that look that much different than last year at this time though.

Borderline.  Tough call.

There’s literal velocity, and then there’s the hitter’s reaction to it (perceived.)  See Kopech, even at 95-96 this year.

Giolito needs to pitch like the ace he's supposed to be.

Really rared back to throw that one...at 92.

Set that one up with the change.

Alberto 142 plate appearances without a single walk.

A 92mph high fastball worked after two outside off speed pitches.

Imagine before the season trying to guess which one of these is Giolito and which one is Rodon.

We would have been excited to see that Rodon was a mostly average pitcher!

This year has just been so weird. The first 2 guys in this rotation to start the season have been our worst starters. The 2 biggest question marks (Rodon and Cease) have been absolutely dominant.

Hard agree Katie

Dozier with two nice plays this series.

Poor man’s Kris Bryant.

That might be the farthest ball Madrigal has ever hit.
