May 12, 20214 yr His BABIP is .447. All his peripherals say he hasn't been as bad as his ERA. He'll turn it around in time.

Plus last year as a rookie he was lights out. I do worry he struggled in a few outings, but I think he will be just fine. What we should be more worried about is Marshall. He has been hit so hard this season and not even close to the pitcher he was last year.
May 12, 20214 yr Seems he’s been throwing a lot of high sinkers and hanging sliders. He needs to get back to burying that slider against righties.

May 12, 20214 yr Bullpens are crazily inconsistent from year to year, hell even month to month. Cody might be back in time but this year Ruiz is looking pretty damn good and I would like to see him get some more high leverage innings early in the year and see what we have.

Yeah... that's also why trading for a relief pitcher is so often a big risk. From one year to the next you never know. It's early though.. he could still be a weapon.
