  • There's no reason for Mendick to hit below Hamilton.

The pedant in me thought "Wow, there's a chance he may throw with his right hand tonight? impressive."

  • Leury 4 for 9 against Happ so of course that’s the game he’s benched

Wild Pitch offense!  4-1!

WILD PITCH OFFENSE

SPEED KILLS!

speed kills

Watching Hamilton run the bases right there, it's a shame he has never been able to be remotely a good hitter. If he were he'd have been one of the most exciting players in the game.

That was perfect by Hamilton.  Almost passed Vaughn on the triple.  Speed kills.

yup

and you have to wonder if we will will find a way to roster him all year for the playoffs

Mendick with the honorary sac fly lol

Billy Hamilton Extension Talks proceeding...?

I'm actually warming to his presence on a 26 man roster, because of all the things he can do defensively and on the basepaths (see Royals 2014-15 with Dyson/Gore not even batting) to change the complexion of the game, getting on the pitcher's nerves and disrupting rhythm, etc.

Can you imagine if Madrigal could run like that?

He used to steal 60 bags a year. Imagine if he could actually get on base.

Keep the pressure on

What makes Hamilton on the bases so fun is that his helmet literally never stays on

I’ll never forget him scoring on a “sac fly” that was basically an infield pop up.

He’s surprised me with how much he’s hit the ball with authority on a few occasions this year. I never really watched him regularly...didn’t know he had it in him.

Madrigal is frustrating when he is in a cold streak. Just a bunch of weak contact.

tough spin on that but TA should have had it.

Some thought he could.  "Elite"

Nice play, but he probably should have held on.

Gotta catch that
