    Great pinch hit call

  • You actually don't have to freak out about Tony every day.  It's possible

  • Jack - Sox are winning. They've won 5 straight. They have the best winning percentage in the MLB. Just in case you didn't know.

Thank god...but it’s not because of some magical connection he had with TLR in 2011.

Just sheer luck and veteran moxie.

Lol Love Lynn

94 on the black with the last pitch -- fucking aced him.  OK Lance we see you.  Eat a hot dog and relax big fella.

Glad Garver wasn't looking 'fastball down the middle, at questionable velocity'

you can't be serious.  he aced him.  that was filthy.

Lance Lynn...hold my beer

Wow. We have to use our bullpen early the day before a double header. Thankfully these double headers are 7 innings.

fuck yes! wow after swinging at all of those balls (any one of which would have tied the game if he literally just stood there) he takes that. props to lynn for getting out of that somehow. can't fucking believe we're still leading in this game- it does NOT feel like we deserve it. let's press our advantage please.

Now we gotta hope Lynn doesn't land back on the DL.

Pineda has had enough time for two concession trips for the Irish Nachos in a helmet and some beer-fried brats.

probably brought some back for Astudillo.

Gritty performance from Lynn

He got screwed over by Jake Lamb's defense.

crochet would be my choice to start the 6th. we shall see.... these will be a tough 4 to get through. assuming bummer and hendricks get one each idk who else i'd even want pitching the 7th if you only give crochet one.

Confidence in your pitcher.

I'm picturing TLR doing the "ice in my veins" tik tok pose

Hamilton and Garcia vs a 300 pound pitcher, and no one has tried to bunt and make him field.

Would like to see Mendick pinch hit for Lamb, play second, shift Vaughn to first and Garcia to LF.

Signature Leury Groundout

I am glad TLR let Lynn face garver.  I have no confidence that Foster was going to get Garver out...........I would rather take my chances with Lyn..

What other velocity was possible after a bazillion pitches the last two innings at his age?

Still harder than Lucas has typically been throwing. Had late life down in the zone.

I actually liked sticking with Lynn there.  He's an accomplished vet and a no-nonsense kind of dude.  He wanted that inning and it was right of Tony to give it to him.  I don't necessarily agree with not having anyone warming, but no issue letting him finish it and get out of the jam.

This is the way.

Used to be Heuer.   Now it’s a black hole.  Ruiz, potentially.   Too bad no Cordero.

This much is true...Foster needs to start innings clean.  Like bringing in Rodon in those situations down the stretch last year.

Pineda absolutely cruising through this weak sauce lineup.

Really miss Mercedes, Grandal and even Madrigal.   Or Mendick could have started at second...but he’s not left handed, lol.
