Why cant little lamb put a ball in play.  Why?

All that for 1 run 

Pile those pitches up and force them into the bullpen early.  Sucks Lamb ended up striking out but it was a good at bat

It was a decent effort that AB but not shocked at the outcome. Tbh I’m satisfied with getting the leadoff double in - I was wary about our odds on that one from the outset, and I don’t hate having a brand new little league game on our hands now (six whole innings lol)

Not a good result, but I can respect a 10-pitch at bat.  Can make a difference in the 5th or 6th.

Jake Lamb has a 118 wRC+ against RHP coming into today, while Vaughn was at a 64.  I think it’s fair to bat Jake ahead of Andrew against a righty.
