If Mendick hits .260/.330 with decent power isn't that more valuable than Nick "Slappy McSlapperson" Madrigal? 

With Madrigal out for the year It will be interesting. I'd imagine we will be debating all winter.

Early August return for Eloy is perfect. Yermin experiment will most likely be over and we will know if Vaughn is staying in RF, moving to DH or going to Charlotte. Eloy COULD get DH since that logjam won't really exist in another month. 

Can we stop pretending mercedes is a top of the order hitter and accept the fact that he just had a hot streak to start the season? Please put him back in the 7 range.

Nick slashed .365/.420/.568 (.988 OPS) in his last 20 games. Mendick isn't touching that, or Nick's potential. If Mendicko hits well, we have one hell of a supersub.
