Send a message to the lineup that they need to get it together. Bat Cease 4th and Abreu 9th. Not kidding. Do it for one game to send a message.

    Sense?

  • You nailed it - the two of them together sound like 2 people just playing with house money and having a blast. Guys that really appreciate how lucky and blessed they are to do what they do and they ge

lol I did find that kind of funny. He's the only guy with a homer today.

I buy that approach completely with Anderson, Frank was right that Anderson has to be looking to CF and RF and when he does that well he winds up pulling offspeed stuff into the gaps or over the wall. I buy that approach with Frank Thomas, because he's one of the best hitters in big league history. But someone like Leury? If pulling the ball works for him and keeps him employed, try it.

Frank, Bummer didn't give up the hit to Gonzalez. That was Crochet.

I hope we can get Hamilton, Eaton, and MK back by the end of the weekend

Excellent outing for Bummer

Great job by Bummer.

It'll be interesting to see what Liam looks like in his first save opportunity without the sticky stuff. He only threw 2 fastballs in his outing against Houston on Sunday.

The Indians absolutely smoked the Pirates' bullpen yet we have no runs off them so far.

Man Vaughn is just looking for sliders from righties. He was so far behind on that fastball.

He can't hit them. I'm not sure why he's looking for them.

And yet he still can’t hit those sliders.  He legit needs a full season in AAA.

Madrigal ISO: .120

Moncada ISO: .124

Discuss.

He's still off, but this is a better at bat from Abreu.

Jose at least got close to making contact that AB.

Okay.  Here comes the challenge for Hendriks.  When did he pitch last?

Pitcher's spot due up first in a potential 10th inning, so I'm guessing a double switch here with Mendick to 2B, Leury to LF, Vaughn to 1B and Abreu out?

Moncada out of the game

In the last 7 days, we have exactly one hitter over a 700 OPS....think about how bad the last 7 days have been, knowing that.

Lets lock this down!

Hug watch.  ?

Hendricks throwing a 99 rising fastball. Sticky stuff doesn't seem to be bothering him so far...
