to be fair, without todays stat line Yaz is hitting .250 .402 .529 6 hr 13 rbis in 22 games in June.  Add the 2 homers and 5 rbis to that for tonight...

i have come to adore him and I had no idea really who the fuck he even was for most of his career.  for at least the first 5 years of his career i thought he was a 5-7 slap hitting white guy speed merchant.
