Wow, you can understand why Goodwin lost that one…huge struggle any ball hit up into the air.

Is that a clutch RBI from Abreu?

Injuries suck no doubt and we are far from seeing the team at it's best. But while still in first how could you not love this team and want to watch ? You had Mercedes in April. You have Vaughn making

  • The season is extraordinarily long and it's really hard to watch bad baseball, they've been playing mediocre baseball for awhile now. It's exhausting to live and die with every out of a baseball seaso

Eaton sucks but Colome sucks more.

Eaton just can’t catch a break from characters

That rain is......it is a comin' down, sheesh. That field is going to be a mess.

It's raining. We get it, Jason.

Tough conditions for the ball to fly rn. It’s pouring out there

Definitely, luckily we got the run, no idea how they are still playing.

They are in fact accounted for because the stat itself is normalized. If all those things happen to every catcher the sample will even out over the size. That's how stats like that work

Not according to fangraphs.

But even so as I just said, how can you claim Collins has evened out over 32 games, nearly half of which have been Rodon and most of the rest Giolito?? There is no way you can demonstrate the difference in pitchers handled can’t just as easily be attributable to the difference. There’s no way in 32 games Collins stats can have evened out the discrepancies between 90 umpires when at maximum he has only caught with 35% of the statistical body. Odds are the commonality between Grandal’s and Collins umpires have been less than 20% of games caught

That's Eloy Jimenez in 30 years

i'm surprised liam is in, unless tony knows this is done after 8

Hendriks for 2??? WHY Tony, just leave Kopech in...

Hendriks in the 8th?

Why not Kopech in the 8th?

Well this is definitely interesting. Never thought La Russa would go to Hendriks for a 6 out save in July.

Would have preferred another inning of Kopech

Well Liam.. you talked all this shit about a chip on your shoulder about the Twins. Lets see you pitch your ass off.

Goddamnit that’s a strike

I don't hate Liam getting the heart of their order, though Kopech could have served the some purpose obviously

6 out save in a 3 run game in the rain? Hmm

Umps screw Sox pitchers continually

He Gone

Nice curveball

The umps are embarrassing this year.

Cruz did this shit last week too.

I would have left Kopech in but I don't hate going to Liam here.
