For the record if I could get him at slot, I would take. Maybe a little over slot. I would not be willing to guarantee MLB but would agree to put him in AA and if performing move to AAA with an outside chance of MLB but it would require him performing.

If we could get him a slot, or even slot +our extra 5%, I would take him for sure, assuming his medicals check out.

If he's there you have to take him. The draft is a crapshoot no matter what, and you likely won't find a major leaguer anyway, so roll the dice on talent. I don't think he will be, though.

July 14, 20223 yr LSU has put so much money in their baseball program. Heard it will take a lot of money to get some of their recruits to sign. Doesn’t benefit the Sox having the 3rd lowest budget.
