That's always how it is with Bummer. Choppers that bounce over people's heads, little dribblers , seeing eyes hits and he doesn't help his cause by being wild.

Houston's been on the verge of breaking this game open for the last few innings.

And there it is.

Hoping the Sox don't get swept again by the Astros. The Astros are the best team in the American League this year by a fairly wide margin.

Leury’s play tonight has been awful.  Reinforces the case that we need a second baseman even if it is a rental. Story, Escobar?

I'm not sure that they can really do anything to make them be competitive in the AL playoffs. They don't have the horses.

They’re not going to convert Story to second base in the middle of a pennant race.

Seems like Ruiz doesn’t get anyone out now

The most dominant 1 and done team in the AL

how many times have they brought ruiz in when it was relatively close and he blows it open.

i mean this game was probably over anyways because we cant score.. but ruiz in high lev situations needs to be done with period.

Simple, get back three of their best players at close to 100%.

They're really lucky the Twins pitching took a shit this year.

Not much choice when no ones pitches well except Kopech, Hendrick and Crochet.

We somehow made this into a blowout. God we just suck against Houston.

The Astros had a ton of injuries last year and played .500 baseball for 2 months. They got healthy in the playoffs and made the ALCS. At least the Sox are able to slay bad teams without their A lineup. If Eloy, Robert, & Grandal weren't likely to all return then I think the concerns would be more warranted.

Who else do you go to there?  Lopez?  Crochet?  Kopech?   Isn’t Michael starting Monday?

Why was Ruiz in the game? He is our worst clutch pitcher..  Our bullpen should have been  rested. Where was Kopech, Crochet, COdy?

With the way the luck has been this year, someone else will go down when Robert and Jimenez return. Probably a starter or two.

Thats fine.

They got theirs tonight

We will beat their ass tomorrow and turn this around on them

16-25 against teams >.500.

And the rest of the BP is faring much better in high leverage ?

Embarrassing.

And Crochet has been somewhere between pretty good and really good but rarely 100% dominant.

Also I vote to never wear the City Connect jerseys again. We're 0-3 in them and always play like crap.

Anybody but Ruiz, even Foster has been better lately.

We already used Heuer and he struggled, too.

If Ruiz were on Charlotte, they would send him down to Birm.

There's still time to sell Lynn and Rodon. Looks what a crappy player like Joc got. Lynn and Rodon can net at least a top 100 guy, each

Foster got sent down…along with Fry.
