Collins is fine hitting when he catches, but he shouldn't be used as DH because Tony is obsessed with bloody platoon splits to start the game. It's absurd, but then again so is a lot of other things he does.

Donaldson, Polanco, kepler........2 guys are LH/SH.......I get the Donaldson factor but you have to bring in Bummer in that situation.

Yep, despite how blah we’re playing other than the last two pitching performances against Houston, an 8 1/2 game lead is the high water mark for the year.

CLE really struggles on the road, and their starting pitching issues are beginning to become more pronounced.

Crochet should be in the minors working on his slider and changeup, and learning how to field his position. He doesn't have enough movement to fool hitters with just his fastball, and one or two innings a week are stunting any development.

and putting in arguably the 6th best reliever in the pen into a one run game in the 8th.

Would have preferred to just bring in Hendriks to face Donaldson in the 8th, and then if he has an easy inning let him go 2.
