worse things have happened to better people.  just roll with it.  sometimes when you're the straw the stirs the drink the drink gets slammed and you just end up in the dish pit.

TLA has a clearly stated philosophy about managing April-August to prepare for Sept-Oct.   Everyone plays a lot and are put into game situations so that they are ready when called upon when it counts

The nonchalant trout of Abreu panning to Timmy and especially Moncada going absolutely nuts is fucking amazing. I love this team, man.

What an atmosphere at the park tonight. Not a huge crowd but it was electric in there. That entire 8th inning was nuts.

Feels so good to have games like this again. Been way too long.

Is TLR as incredible in person as he is on television?

I once had a dream I was a player in the dugout when TLR had his hat sideways in the Southside uniform. That made every dollar spent on Melatonin worth it.

we need to pin this thread.

Probably the most electric game I’ve been to since the black out game. Awesome!

Feel like this is where we bump that juggernaut thread again. We're top-5 in odds win the World Series and have been doing it with a roster fall of replacement-level guys, call-ups, and underperforming studs. And these guys have been contributing to the point where we need to debate what to do with the roster once we get the starters back.

Now Tim is hitting HRs, Moncada is hitting HRs, Abreu is driving in runs, and we've got three dynamos coming back from injury soon.

We're sending a message to the rest of the league - get fucking ready.

Wondering.  What's Tim not doing after those home runs?  TLR get to him or Tim got older and wiser?

Just being in the same building as him gave me goosebumps

haven't seen that much emotion out of Yoan much.  You love to see it. and lol at Abreu getting out of the box like a tired old mule fetching the water bucket. just another 3 RBI to the tally.

During Jose's homer, you can see bullpen dudes lose their shit. Someone is hanging on the fence in excitement.

I'm still out here re-watching replays of the Abreu homerun. A majestic moonshot.... Abreu circles the bases workman-like as Yoan, Tim and the Chicago fans go nuts. Good times.
