It’s really too bad Detmers went a pick early. I saw he’s a top 10 prospect now.

What number prospect do you think Crochet would be if he spent this year at AA?

Instead he’s throwing 96 an inning a week

As a starter.

What do we think his stuff would look like as a SP? He's never really done that before, even in college.

You know better than any of us, but is his arm capable of being a starter?  Seems they got a bit spooked by him being sore last year.

Eloy looked alright in the first 2 ABs. He looked god awful in the last 2.

I think his stuff would look outstanding.

Both Heuer and Crochet looked better tonight than in recent appearances.  It is the best takeaway tonight.  Our offense has been more of a problem lately than the relievers.

He’s a slow starter it seems. Just happy he’s returning with plenty of time to get things turned around.

LFG

Glad to see yoyo with a nice inside out swing.

Surely Sheets is the call here, right?

I hope so but the pretty significant decrease in velo from where he was at last season (both pre draft and in the majors) has me pretty spooked. It doesn't seem realistic that 101 ever comes back so if he's 95-98 as a 1 inning guy what does that look like when he's trying to go 5?

I wish he/we spent the season finding that out, though. Once it became apparent he wasn't Josh Hader he should have been in the minors developing as a SP.

Don't stop now boys

Lets go engel! Holy cow. Give sheets a chance!

Bright it on BABY

Please blast one

Goodwin?!?!?

Goodwin and not Sheets?

We are still alive.  Tying run to the plate.
