Are we going to watch Al Michaels vacuuming in the bottom half of the fifth?

  • I want to see this lineup in a perfect world: SS - L. Garcia 2B - L. Garcia C - L. Garcia 3B - L. Garcia LF - L. Garcia 1B - L. Garcia RF - L. Garcia CF - L. Ga

These aren't great breaking pitches but it's very clear they are only looking fastball

Cease gets 2 quick outs and then starts not locating his fastball again. Focus.

ESPN has more money than god yet they still can't find a broadcast booth for baseball or the NFL that isn't an abject disaster

Best national broadcast is the one with FOX and AJP.

I miss John Miller and Joe Morgan.

John Miller still calls Giants games and he's great. It's crazy given how deep ESPN's pockets are they can't find ANYONE better than this mess

Fox Sports broadcasts suck, but not nearly this bad.

ESPN should stick to Steven A Smith 24/7.

ESPN loves talking about ESPN

Nicely done, Hendriks for the 5th :)

This telecast is brutal

Much better inning from Dylan.

that was a lot better

He really needs to throw at least one breaking pitch when he gets to two strikes

Al Michaels would be better served broadcasting with him interviewing Arod.

Cease is far from an ace so of course you'll feel uneasy about him in a playoff game, but take a look at what other AL contenders will be starting in a game 4

Cease is as good or better than any AL teams 4th starter. For those that might mention the Astros, please look at how Valdez, Greinke and Odorizzi pitched in July.

Just line him up in the rotation so he pitches at home and he'll be fine.

If they honest to god wanted to talk about the Oswald the Lucky Rabbit trade, at least that would be interesting.

But holy shit, why broadcast these games just to discuss ... Al Micahels? Live from his fucking couch?

Lets get the lead a little wider again, Moncada needs to hit one in the air and let the wind carry it out.

The way they made a big deal of Al Michaels appearing in ABC tonight, I thought he'd be part of the broadcast and not this mess. He shod be the pbp. Even he seems to want to do it.

Cease has gotten Duffy looking 3 times tonight.

God damn. The interview from hell continues.

I hate these interviews! Is there a reason why we have to have it take up half of the screen? We dont need to see him

Seriously everybody's got a nice wide screen TV and they revert back to the square picture like the 70's.

Nice Hawk shoutout though. And there's the La Russa story lol.
