hahahah no im just the idea man. i don't wanna be responsible for buying $2500 of tickets and coordinating venmo lol. 

but seriously, if we did have upwards of 100 people express interest .... like true interest.. and coordinated the 100, $25 venmo's first? The risk is minimal minus that party taking off with the money. 

just use a random number selector website and assign a number to people as venmos are received in order. 

I'd probably want to have an admin do it, or someone who has met people on this website. i've never met any of you guys, so not sure im the guy for hte project. 

also would probably want to do the number generator present at like a sox game this weekend in front of some people. do it at a tailgate or something.

Love the unis. Hope they can make them regular alts in the future, though MLB/Nike might want them to be exclusive to this game.

 I have been against the entire concept of glorifying the Black Sox scandal from the beginning. I hope this is game is one and done and that the field is reclaimed for farming.

I don't look at the movie as glorifying the Black Sox. I see the Sox players as a vehicle for the redemption of Moonlight Graham and Ray Kinsella.

How about people just send me $50 a piece?   I’ll go to a casino and put it all on your number of choice at the roulette table.   If it hits, you’ll have $1800 to buy tickets.   Much easier than trying to coordinate a raffle with 100 partipants

Non-responsive and absurd.  I said he was part of a Cuban core of players for the purpose of pointing out how close those players are to one another.

They speak the same language and have similar cultures.

You might want to look at a map and do some reading to see where the Dominican Republic is and how it is related to Cuba.

Man, just admit you are wrong.  You are 110% out in left field here, and much like Eloy, you can't seem to catch it.  He's not part of the Cuban core, he's Dominican.  If you had said "Hispanic" core you could carry on this charade, but that's not what happened.  Under no definition at all is he part of a "Cuban" core.

Not many of you Soxtalk people know me, I was on WSI for the longest and run our Dynasty Fantasy League for the past 16 years. My season ticket group won 2 tickets and a parking pass. They are interested in listing them on stubhub, but the Sox haven't given us our actual location because, I believe, the season ticket holders might actually get "seats" instead of the bleachers like you're seeing now. I can talk to my group and see if they would be interested in a raffle. We would have to guarantee at least 200 people though, because with seats, we are certain we could get that amount for them. But I'd be happy with any of the admins running the venmo and could do a live stream of the selection process to see who wins the tickets if you all are serious about this? 

 

Would probably have to do a poll to see how many are interested to see if we could meet the requirement from my group.

I am so lucky right now! I was looking at tickets on Stubhub and talking to coworkers about not really wanting to buy tickets for $1100 a piece. My boss walks by and asks if I'm going to the Field of Dreams game. I reply, "I wish but probably not unless tickets take an unexpected turn and go down." He then says his wife was selected but had no interest in going and didn't want to spend the money for it. So they gave me their opportunity and I gladly bought the pair. I AM GOING TO THE FIELD OF DREAMS GAME!!!!!
