Having a starting pitcher that can really only go 5 innings, is pretty useless.  He sucks when teams go a 3rd time through.  Hope they can get rid of him in the off season.

Because you'd have to DFA Lamb. Sheets has options. He's also not gonna get regular playing time in the Majors, which he needs. So once rosters expand in September, he can get called back up.

Sheets has options and Lamb would have been DFA'd.  Still doesn't make it the right call but that's why.

And why do we have Lamb instead of Sheets. Tony is an ass hole.now we have Collins catching and he can’t catch. If we lose this one it’s all on Tony and his over the hill gang.

I'd rather have Sheets up here too, it's just convenient to send him down without losing Lamb, who does have some value as a left handed pinch hitter.
