The common complaint about Frank Thomas.

Yes one of the craziest things ever. He needed to swing more, You had this first ballot HOFer, and they wanted to risk changing him and not letting him be because his eye was too good.

Anyone here actually watching the game? Other than  the double, Dallas was pitching well.    jesus this board sometimes

If the Sox don't want to make a switch with an 11 game lead, fair enough. But it's not hard to look forward to next years rotation and say Keuchel deserves to be out of it.

No one would trade for him though. He’s going to be their 5th starter and just limit his innings.

I would rather have Lopez in the rotation than Dallas at this point

What is your rationale?  No Anderson, No Robert.  Hernández and Goodwin setting the table.

When does Hernandez get some rest?

I wonder if Leury starts some 2B when he's back.

Lol pretty lucky for DK

if the Sox lose this game but there aren't any fans there to see it, does it count?

I don’t think last nights win should count since Kimbrel walked someone.

Throw to second my gosh

And a dumb ass throw by the CF.

He’s getting hammered.

Tampa exit velocity looks like Aroldis Chapman in his prime

Throwing this out there against the best team in the AL is a disgrace.

I guess that is TLR for you.  Must be some unwritten rule that we need to play our scrubs so we do not disrespect the Rays.

Slick play Cesar!

Cesar has really smooth hands at 2B

Another scrub pitcher let off the hook

Patino is a pretty highly regarded talent. We have the scrubbier pitcher of the two at this point.

Anyone think that Keuchel is probably saying to himself “screw this” if TLR is going to put a weak lineup for his start.  Meaning, He is not giving it his best effort.

They'd never do it, but just based on merit, it's not difficult for me to envision Lopez deserving to be ahead of DK for a rotation spot next year

We're  paying $18+ million for a guy who misses no bats. Like ever.

Lol what... why would he do that.  Keuchel wants to win, he's just old and his stuff isn't as a good anymore.  Dude won a CY

He needs to worry about his own performance first, sorry ass lineup/defense or not.

Tony has always loved the last guys on his roster. He wants to get credit for winning with them playing. Everyone can win if they play regulars. He is a HOF baseball person brother. He is smarter than everyone else.
