Eh it was a good borderline pitch. I think they needed to make Perez at least think there was a chance he'd get a fastball.

You did not have to be a rocket scientist to figure that out.  Our pitch selection on the 2 Salvyhomers was brutal. And they were no solos, they were of the Earl Weaver 3 run variety.  Whoever called for the fastball to Salvy should be reprimanded or worse.
