Perez vs. Sox: .309/.324/.647
Perez vs. Indians: .159/.245/.364

The pitches we throw him are pretty similar to how the Indians pitch him. Around 36-38% fastballs (let's not pretend the Indians don't throw him any fastballs). But here's the difference (first is Indians, 2nd is Sox)

We throw him a lot more pitches near the outside black as opposed to off the plate and low. His hot/cold zones vs. the Sox is all red whereas he only has 2 hot zones vs. the Indians. It's all about execution.

Cleveland has better pinpoint location in their rotation/bullpen.

And that's what keeps Sheets from starting.  That was a pretty easy dig at 1st.

It’s hard to comeback with crappy defense on the field from Sheets and Goodwin as seen today.  It is hard to win games with a Sunday line with four bad defenders on the field at the same time.

What is the update?

Hopefully he can pitch against Boston next weekend, but he's not feeling it right now and that the Sox are concerned. Same issue as before (shoulder fatigue and soreness).
