At least AV can still play some defense.

Why did Benetti sound so lethargic on that Vaughn catch? That play was much better than he's giving him credit for.

I'll say this for Dallas, it really is fun to watch him field his position

Vaughn is a lot like Derek Jeter on defense. He doesn't have a lot of range, but he's fairly sure handed and will dive for enough balls to make you think he's pretty good out there.

If teams knew Vaughn would be this "good" on defense in the OF, he would have been drafted as one. He's definitely exceeded any expectations for him on defense.
