I think TA is in a different bucket than a lot of other guys on the team. He's had reoccurring soft tissue injuries for 3 years now and at least twice this season. If he has another setback with his hamstring then that could be his season gone. I think it's extremely important to get the 2 seed and have been saying as such for months, but TA is not the guy you push to make that happen.

I don’t think it’s important at all to get the 2 seed.  Agree with the rest.

Rest, rest, rest.

Ohtani may break out of his slump if DK does anything but stay low and away against him. If he gets anything inside or out over the plate it's going 425+ .

Ohtani will have at least 2 hits off Keuchel before he's pulled

I think it's extremely important to get the 2 seed, and particularly with Anderson, I have zero problem with him sitting every other day right now and consider that clearly a higher priority.

LFG!!!! Shock the world and remember how to pitch, Dallas.

Angels broadcast: “Tall assignment tonight against a former CY Young Award Winner”

Oh, I long for your optimism.

So basically, Junk vs Junk at this point.

Angels are throwing Junk at us tonight, after throwing Packy at us last night.  Sounds like a circus.

These announcersapparently have not been watching many Sox games this season.

Keuchel is going back to throwing out of the windup with nobody on. I don't know if it'll help him, but I guess it's worth trying.

If that first AB is any indication, I don't think throwing out of the windup is gonna help him. He's lucky Fletcher has no pop.

Keuchel is unhittable.

Junk Squared tonight at GRF

The big question of the night is who will be Junkier.

He Gone

Wow, Ohtani is really struggling.

Nice pitches to get Ohtani after going down 3-1.

Watching Keuchel pitch is so similar to watching Mike Wright. Both guys know if they go middle with anything it's getting crushed.

Walsh is one of those guys who's a bad matchup for Keuchel. He's really struggled against lefties this year.

Hoberg doesn't have a big zone so I don't think Keuchel is gonna get the calls he got his last start in Oakland.

Nice 1st inning....Dallas deserves an apology from Soxtalk.  I'll hang up and listen.

Good start for Keuchel. Handled Ohtani and Walsh very well.

He's had scoreless first innings his last 3 times out. It's the 2nd inning that's kind of snake bitten him.
